Source used was a dvd5 that had a full set of english subs added ….there wasn’t any grp tag so ,thanks to whoever
Now the source quailty…..was badly interlace and colouring off and was also not very sharp.Audio was nice and seemed
to be insync.
Work done…..well firstly we took the english.srt file and reomove 100’s of lines that wasn’t needed and left those that was and resaved it.
Then we made a small script to crop,resize,white balance,rgb eq,sharpness,brightness,contrast and a smoother and drop it into vdub.
Now we’ve noticed through out the film the colouring changes…..sometimes gets a tint of green come and go….nothing major though.
The audio we jusr remuxed the original AC3 audio track back to it.

Yes we know there are loads of encodes already and we wasn’t going to do this but were asked by several users and once we got the dvd5,we thought
sod it and did one

This is the best release so far for it combines decent audio with the English hardcoded subs during the foreign parts and this is especially helpful since most standalone players have difficulty handling subtitle files.
What i found the most bothersome apart from the casting was the fact that we have a short young 90lbish Karate Kid going up against vicious beefy Chinese kids, who looked like they could easily whip poor Jaden’s ass and possibly eat him afterwards. I was worried for the kid. The Karate Kid i remember targeted an older audience and had more mass appeal due to its stellar casting.

This ViSiON release uses the KiNGDOM R6 source and they have cleaned up the video, blurred out the Chinese subs and added English subs to foreign parts. Keep in mind playas that this R6 release is missing about 6 minutes of footage due to censorship. They have edited all the parts of the Chinese ‘Fighting Dragons’ master being violent.

First off sources used are the spanish dvdr by anton studios and some homemade stuff …..Thanks to all for the sources
Right the dvdr we were given contain a english audio track which was cam but pretty decent …..the video was good but had
hardcoded spanish subs all the way through and also english when needed.
Theres also antons normal “A” in the top right corner hardcoded and theres also a corner of a chair in the bottom left.
The colours were ok in parts but there was some major green added to it
The other source we used…..was to fill in the missing blanks.At around 6mins 20secs there is 32 seconds of missing footage so
we’ve added that with audio for it.
Work done….well the audio on all has been left how they were so ….
The videos…..well the missing part has been filtered and resized to match the main bulk of our encode.The anton dvdr we basically just
ripped and ran a few filteres over it,changing the rgb colours,chroma,brightness,contrast,hue,sat also used a smoother and finally there seemed
to be some interlace issues that wasn’t going away even after we fixed the ivtc,so for this we had to blend the field and normal de-interlace aswell.
Once done it was just a case of fitting the missing scene into our encode.
